FLEXTOR is a program to calculate flexural torsi-
onal interaction strength of compression member.
The program use LRFD as a design code.
The program is written in Turbo Pascal 5.5 using
The Artful Graphical User Interface created
by Nathan Madutujuh.
This is a Steel Structures II Class' Project
(Dr. S.W. Easterling, Spring, 1991)

FILE is a standard module of Artful Menu System.
With FILE you can do :
1. list files in a directory
2. view a text file
3. exit from this program

PRINTER SETUP
Select default values for your printer.
For the print screen command, landscape and
grayscale modes will be used automatically.
Print screen command can only be used for
HP-laser printer type.
(Others will not give a clear output).

CALC is a standard module of Artful Menu System.
With CALC you can do a simple scientific calcu-
lation using available math functions.

AISC = "American Institute of Steel Construction"

LRFD "Load and Ressistant Factor Design" is a
new design method for steel structures that will
give more economical and more accurate designs.
The code utilizes load factors and resistant
factors based on reliability theory.
